Who are we?
The current speed of changes in society, initiated by digitization, globalization, higher life expectancy and the impact of the energy transition, among other things, make it necessary to develop sufficient sustainable employable potential and agility. This is necessary to remain relevant and applies to you as an individual as well as to the organizations in order to continue to add and/or create value.
Mission
Knowvium's mission is to develop internationally applicable products/services based on science that serve the labor market relevance and long-term added value creation of people and organizations.
How do we do that?
Our best practice (knowledge) products and services are, among other things, training courses and workshops made available to professionals and organisations.
Our History
At the basis of this thinking and acting are Beatrice van der Heijden and Gerard Scheenstra. Both have been working together since 2001. To connect "all scientific and practical developments" around the themes of Sustainable Employable Potential, agility (at individual and organizational level) and value creation on the basis of connected collaboration and focus, based on the implementation of Knowvium's mission as an Applied Science Organization
An Operational Team has been set up and the KnowviumApplied Science Board Sustainable Employability Innovation has been set up to give shape and substance to this connection between science and practice.
Operational Team Product, Knowledge and training development.
– The development and design of practical usable methods and associated instruments that are made available to customer groups on the basis of knowledge transfer.
– Developing and providing (in co-creation with key business partners) training, workshops and seminar programs through the knowvium business school and through the HAN contract education.
– Carrying out and supporting research and grant projects, both commercially and socially, on the basis of science consulting.

Applied Science Board Team
Knowvium's Applied Science Board is a creative bubble machine in the domain of human capital, sustainable employability and innovations based on social impact value creation. Renowned scientists and entrepreneurial practitioners explore issues, opportunities and implementable solutions based on reciprocity, trust in integrity and intentions to be of value. The board is responsible for the application of scientific ideas for the development of people and organizations. The data obtained from practice is used for further research into and validation of methods, instruments, knowledge and insights.
